You are cordially invited to join our Management Luncheon Series on Cyber Security which will be held on 3rd March 2017.

With the title “Building an Effective Approach to Protect Against Cyber Attacks”, this luncheon will discuss the cyber threats that financial institutions are facing and how an effective approach to protect their network against cyber attacks should be established. In the special demo session, security experts will demonstrate the shortfalls of common perimeter defense like firewall or IPS against DDoS attacks and how advanced DDoS mitigation platform can bring more effective protection.

This HKIB Management Luncheon aims to provide a platform for the industry peers to share their practical knowhow and have in-depth discussions to tackle the challenges faced by financial institutions.

SPEAKERS

Presentation: Emerging Cybersecurity Trends

Gabriel Chan
Head of Information Security, Greater China
ABN AMRO Bank

Gabriel has over 15 years' experience in cyber security and technology risk management, specialising in the banking and financial industry. His current responsibility in ABN AMRO is to manage the information security risk exposure in the Greater China region, including the security control governance, risk assessment, information security risk management and cyber threat response. Prior to his current role, Gabriel served as the cyber forensic investigator for Bank of America Merrill Lynch and before that he was the regional lead of the ethical hacking team for JP Morgan. Gabriel first started his career as a system and network specialist in Bank of China (HK).

Gabriel received a Master of Computer Science from University of Hong Kong. He is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) since 2001, and is also certified in other security area such as computer hacking, digital forensic and information security management.

George Tsui
Country Manager of Hong Kong and China
Arbor Networks

George Tsui is the Country Manager of China and Hong Kong for Arbor Networks. His primary responsibilities include managing and developing channel sales network in his region, and devising sales strategy, and market development plan in both service providers and enterprise markets. Prior to this role, George was the Regional Director for BT, taking care of the sales channels’ business and operations in the Greater China region with full responsibility in P&L, operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Before he joined BT, he had also held different senior positions in HKT and Infonet Hong Kong.

With over 24 years of extensive experience in the global telecommunications / ICT industry, George’s areas of focus and expertise include channel partner/alliance development, sales and business management.

George is based in Hong Kong and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.

Fong Wai Cheuk
Sales Engineering Manager of North Asia
Arbor Networks

Fong Wai Cheuk holds the position of Sales Engineering Manager of North Asia at Arbor Networks. In this current role, his responsibilities include product selling and build-related product technology support. Fong Wai has years of experiences in network infrastructure planning, security network deployment and management planning. Before joining Arbor Networks, he had worked as system engineer and network engineer in different large network security solution providers and telecommunication companies.
