Del Abdullah is the Head of Electronic Trading Technology at Daiwa Capital Markets. In the last decade, Mr Abdullah has worked on building low-latency routing, crossing, TCA, compliance and algorithmic trading systems in California, New York and Hong Kong. Mr. Abdullah is also a member of the FPL technical subcommittee. Prior to joining Daiwa Capital Markets, he has held various positions at Investment Technology Group.

As Managing Director of Korea Financial Investment Association (“KOFIA”), Michael Baek is in charge of Financial Investment Education Division and Research & International Affairs Department. Additionally he leads G20 Capital Market Support Unit for the successful hosting of G20 Summit in Korea in November, 2010.

He supervises the departments to design and provide the best expertise training programs to the employees of member companies to become the most competitive market players. He leads the departments to provide useful information on international businesses to the member companies through seminars, conferences and diverse channels. He guides staff to provide international regulatory information to the member firms and to relay policy recommendations that are gathered from market to the regulators. He encourages departments to proactively arrange and participate in international seminars and meetings on both global and local financial issues and KOFIA is an active member of major international organizations that are related financial investment industry.

Before joining KOFIA, Mr. Baek was the CEO & President of Winning Habit Consulting, Ltd. Prior to that, he has been the Executive Vice President of Allied Consulting Associates in 2007; Group Vice President and Country Compliance Representative of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Korea in 2006-2007; and Vice President and Compliance Officer of Morgan Stanley Bank Korea in late 2004 to 2006. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he worked for GE Capital Korea, Ltd., the Financial Supervisory Service and Bank of Korea.

Michael received his BA in Law from Seoul National University in 1985 and studied economics at Graduate School of Business Administration in Yeonsei University.

   
Kwong Cheng
Associate Director, Head of Global Account Management Asia
CME Group

Kwong Cheng serves as Associate Director, Head of Global Account Management Asia with responsibility for developing and executing CME Group’s e-trading strategy in Asia. Kwong manages firm and independent software vendor (ISV) development, certification, connectivity, and ongoing configuration needs, as well as the client-side of new software releases, changes in functionality and beta programs. Kwong has 11 years of futures industry experience. He joined CME Group in 1999.

Kwong has held various roles as a project leader ensuring CME has efficient and viable distribution and partnerships. He was part of the implementation of One Chicago, the joint venture of CME, CBOE and CBOT to launch the single stock futures on Globex, CME’s historic Common Clearing Link with The Chicago Board of Trade before the merger in January 2004, and the implementation of KOSPI 200 Futures on CME Globex in 2009. Kwong was also part of the implementation team for the innovative trade-matching capability offering the first seamless integrated trading and clearing of CME-listed products with forward rate agreements (FRAs) in over-the-counter (OTC) interest rate markets. The FRA contracts, which are essentially Eurodollar futures with flexible daily expiration dates, are automatically matched and executed on the CME Globex electronic trading platform.

Before Kwong served in Global Account Management and project leadership roles at the CME Group, he was an associate at The Northern Trust Company in Chicago. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wyoming, a MBA degree from the University of Illinois and a Master’s degree in Management Information System from the Benedictine University in Illinois. He is a Certified Treasury Professional and a member of the Association for Financial Professionals.

   
Joel Hurewitz

Joel Hurewitz is the Head of Sales - Broker Dealer & Liquidity for Instinet, responsible for the sale of products to other broker dealers as well as management of their unrivaled suit of alternative execution venues. Prior to Instinet, Joel was Head of Sales for BlocSec at CLSA. Previous to CLSA, Joel was the Asia Pacific Head of Electronic Trading Products at HSBC, responsible for sales and marketing of the Bank's alternative execution products including FIX Connectivity, Direct Market Access and Program & Algorithmic trading. Joel is also an active member and supporter of FPL, the standards body for Electronic trading and has held the post of Co-Chair of the Technical Committee of FPL in Asia as well as the Co-Chair of the Business and Practices Committee. In addition, Joel spent three years as the Asia Pacific editor of FIXGlobal, the de-facto journal of electronic trading, read by industry professionals worldwide.

   
Josephine Kim

Josephine Kim is a Director in charge of the South East Asia Execution Sales for BofA. Prior to BofA, Josephine was at Credit Suisse working for both Hong Kong and Singapore offices covering North East and South East Asia based clients. She has earned Bachelors in Economics from University of London and Masters in Accounting and Finance from City Business School in UK.

   
Hanno Klein
FPL Global Technical Committee Co-Chair and
Senior Project Manager, Deutsche Börse Group

Hanno Klein is Senior Project Manager at Deutsche Börse Systems, a Deutsche Börse Group Company which also provides the technology for Eurex, its main derivatives exchange. He joined the company in 1997 and worked in various positions and projects of strategic and operational nature in Germany and the USA. From 2001 to 2005, he served as Vice President of Deutsche Boerse Systems Inc. in Chicago.

In June 2006, he helped to re-establish the FPL Exchanges/ECN Working Group (EEWG) which was elevated to the FPL Global Exchanges and Markets Committee (GExMC) in September 2007 and co-chaired by him since then. He is co-chair of the FPL Global Technical Committee (GTC) since July 2010 and a member of the FPL Global Steering Committee (GSC).

The GExMC seeks to enable and promote the harmonized usage of FIX by exchanges and other marketplaces. An increased adoption of FIX by this group of users requires a focus on performance together with a true standardization.

   
David In-hwan Lee

David In-hwan Lee is the founder and CEO of DATAROAD, a leading electronic trading solutions provider in Korea. He has spent more than 20 years working in the areas of securities trading and settlement systems development in Korea. Before founding DATAROAD in 2000, he worked for ABN AMRO Asia and Dongsuh Securities.

He made every effort to spread the FIX Protocol among financial institutions in Korea. His team developed the first FIX Engine and OMS (Order Management System) in Korea.

He is still playing an important role in FIX Protocol consulting and OMS development in the industry.

   

Quentin Limouzi
Head of Advanced Execution Asia and Japan

Mr. Quentin Limouzi is currently Head of Advanced Execution for Asia and Japan at BNP Paribas Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd. He is responsible for the electronic trading platform for cash equities in Asia and Japan.

Quentin joined BNP Paribas in 2007 where he was responsible for the development of electronic trading platform in Japan. After the successful launch there, he spent two years in expanding the platform and execution team in Hong Kong. He has been relocated to Singapore since July 2010 to complete the bank’s equity sales and trading capabilities through to South East Asia.

Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Quentin was with TradingScreen, an American company based in Japan. He was Head of Sales for Asia Pacific as well as a partner of the firm.

Quentin obtained a Master’s degree in Management from EMLYON Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Lyon. He was majoring in Quantitative Analysis.

   
Edward Mangles

Mr. Edward Mangles is the founder and Publisher of FIXGlobal, the official publication of the FIX Protocol. He has a long history within the financial technology sector and has worked closely with FPL for a number of years. He has supported the organisation’s Asia Pacific committee for the past 8 years, playing a key role in promoting FIX adoption across the region. He has also worked for leading financial publishing and marketing firms in both London and Hong Kong. In March 09 Mr. Edward Mangles was appointed FPL Asia Pacific Regional Director.

Matthew Saul

Matt is responsible for trading Australian equities, as well as managing six other equity traders on the Asia-ex Japan desk, based in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Fidelity eight years ago, Matt spent five years at Citi in Melbourne, first on the sell side, then joining the buy side as an equity dealer.

   

Brook Teeter

Brook Teeter is a Director and Head of Client Trading & Execution Sales for the Asia Pacific Region at Credit Suisse. Brook has been with Credit Suisse for 5 years and is based in Hong Kong. He has been in the financial services industry for over 14 years. Prior to joining Credit Suisse he was the Head of Institutional Sales at E*Trade Financial in Hong Kong and Singapore. Brook has also worked for Javelin Technologies in Hong Kong and San Francisco as the Head of Electronic Sales for Asia and led US sales teams for Gordon, Haskett and Co., a boutique brokerage and Financial Software company in New York and San Diego.

Brook has been an active member of the US and Asia Pacific FPL (FIX Protocol Limited) Steering Committee since 2000 and is active in promoting the protocol throughout the region in his current role of Co-Chair Global Membership Committee. He has previously held the position of Co-Chair of the Asian Education and Marketing Committee and has written and spoken extensively on the subject of FIX and Electronic Trading, regularly attending conferences and meeting with varying exchanges and regulatory bodies across Asia.

Mr. Teeter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and advanced degrees in Finance and Marketing from the University of Delaware.

   

Leigh Wilson

Tae Seok (Clement) Yoo

Tae Yoo serves as Director, Head of Strategic Sales and Administration Asia with responsibility for developing and executing CME Group’s business and sales strategy in Asia. Yoo has 16 years of derivatives industry experience. He joined CME in 1997.

Yoo was part of Asia business development strategy team and played key role in developing various key business ventures for CME Group including the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives (BMD) listing on Globex, KRX KOSPI 200 futures listing on CME Globex, 50/50 Joint Venture with Reuters in FXMarketSpace, and CFETS agreement on super-clearing. In 2003, he was a part of project lead team on the agreement of common clearing link with the Chicago Board of Trade. While in clearing division, he served as risk management and team leader specializing in CME interest rates, foreign exchange and equity products. He led CME cross-margining projects with the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC), New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), London Clearing House (LCH) using Standard Portfolio Analysis of Risk® (SPAN®) System. He has been named an inventor on four U.S. patents on derivative risk management margining applications.

Prior to joining CME, he was an Associate Vice President of Asia Business Development at Sumitomo Mitsui Bank (formerly Sakura Dellsher, Inc.) and at Goldman Sachs & Co. in Chicago. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and a MBA degree in financial markets and trading from the Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He also finished the Graduate Student program at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
