Prof. K C Chan
Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury
The Government of the HKSAR

Professor Chan was Dean of Business and Management in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) before he was appointed Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury in July 2007. Prior to joining the HKUST Business School in 1993, Professor Chan had spent nine years teaching at Ohio State University in the United States.

Professor Chan received his bachelor's degree in economics from Wesleyan University and his M.B.A. and Ph.D. in finance from the University of Chicago. He specialised in assets pricing, evaluation of trading strategies and market efficiency and has published numerous articles on these topics.

Before joining the Government, Professor Chan held a number of public service positions including Chairman of the Consumer Council, Director of the Hong Kong Futures Exchange, and Member of the Commission on Strategic Development, Commission on Poverty, the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee, the Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee, and the Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation. He was former President of the Asian Finance Association and President of Association of Asia Pacific Business Schools.

   
   
Charles Li
Chief Executive
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited

Mr. Charles Li has served as Chief Executive of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx) since 2010. In this role, Mr. Li has orchestrated some of the most significant strategic initiatives in HKEx's history, including the expansion into fixed income, currency and commodities through the acquisition of the London Metal Exchange in 2012 and the launch of OTC Clear in 2013, as well as enhanced mutual market access with Mainland China through Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect and other cooperation.

Mr. Li's career in financial services spans over 20 years. Before joining HKEx, he was Chairman of JPMorgan Chase China, prior to which he was President of Merrill Lynch China. Before joining Merrill Lynch in 1994, Mr. Li practiced law in New York with Davis Polk & Wardwell and Brown & Wood.

Before moving to the US for his studies, Mr. Li had worked as an offshore oil worker in the North China Sea, and as a newspaper editor-reporter for China Daily from 1984-86.

Mr. Li obtained a BA degree in English literature from Xiamen University of China in 1984, a MA degree in journalism from the University of Alabama in 1988, and a JD degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1991.

   
   
Julia Leung
Executive Director, Investment Products,
Securities and Futures Commission, Hong Kong

Ms. Leung is a member of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). She is also an Executive Director with responsibility for the Investment Products Division, which is responsible for regulating the Hong Kong retail investment products market.

Prior to joining the SFC, Ms. Leung was the Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury from August 2008 to December 2013. Before that, she worked with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) for 14 years, spending the last eight years as the Executive Director responsible for financial cooperation with Mainland and other international regulators. She represented the HKMA at the Bank for International Settlement’s Committee on the Global Financial Systems.

In over 20 years of public service, Ms. Leung has extensive experience in financial market development, surveillance and international cooperation. She coordinated an initiative among Asian central banks that led to the launch of the Asian Bond Fund, helped introduce the renminbi business in Hong Kong, and facilitated the issuance of yuan-denominated sovereign bonds by the Chinese Ministry of Finance as well as the issuance of other investment products in the offshore renminbi market.

Ms. Leung graduated with first-class honours at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and earned a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University in the City of New York. She was affiliated as a fellow of Chatham House, Harvard University's Asia Center and the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum during 2014, when she conducted research and authored a book on how Asia surmounted various financial crises.

Ms. Leung also sits on the Committee on Real Estate Investment Trusts (Chairman), the Product Advisory Committee (Chairman), the SFC (HKEC Listing) Committee and the Executive Committee.

   
   
Dr. David Wong Yau-kar

Dr. David Y.K. Wong, BBS, JP received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago in 1987. Dr. Wong has since worked in various industries including corporate finance, manufacturing and trading. Dr. Wong actively participates in various community services. He is presently Chairman of Land and Development Advisory Committee and Chairman of Protection of Wages on Insolvency Fund Board. He is also a member of Exchange Fund Advisory Committee, Economic Development Commission, and a Hong Kong Deputy of The 12th National People's Congress. Dr. Wong is a past President of the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA), and Chairman of the Business and Professionals Federation of Hong Kong. Arthur Bacci

Arthur J. Bacci is Vice President of the Principal Financial Group® and serves as Head – Hong Kong Group, Principal International.

Bacci joined the company in 2002 as chief financial officer of Principal Trust Company (Delaware Charter Guarantee and Trust Company) and was promoted to 2nd VP and CEO/President of Principal Trust in 2005. In 2008, he was promoted to vice president and CEO/President of both Principal Bank and Principal Trust and served on their respective Board of Directors. He was appointed to his current position in May 2013. Prior to joining the company, Bacci was president and chief operating officer of the Ashton Technology Group since 1998. Previously, Bacci held various senior management positions with William E. Simon & Sons and its affiliates.

Bacci is a native of San Francisco, CA and earned his bachelor degree from San Jose State University and his master’s in business administration from the Leavy School of Business at the University of Santa Clara.

   
Stephen Chang

Stephen Chang, managing director, is head of the Asian Fixed Income team. Based in Hong Kong, his team is responsible for managing bond portfolios in the region and is active in Asian credit instruments across investment grade and high yield to local currency bonds and convertibles. In addition, his responsibilities include setting macro and asset allocation strategy as part of the broader emerging market debt team. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Stephen worked with the Royal Bank of Scotland in Hong Kong as senior interest rates and derivatives trader. Previously he was based in New York with Fischer Francis Trees & Watts, Inc. as a global fixed income portfolio analyst and was later appointed as a global fixed income portfolio manager. He holds a B.Sc. in computer science from Cornell University, an M.Sc. in management science from Stanford University and is a CFA charterholder.

Bryan Collins

Bryan Collins, based in Hong Kong, is the portfolio manager of the Asian High Yield Fund, the RMB Bond Franchise, the Hong Kong Bond Fund as well as the Asian cash funds. He also co-manages the Asian Bond Fund.

bryan has 15 years of investment experience and joined Fidelity in 2006 as a fixed income trader. In 2009, Bryan became portfolio manager and is currently responsible for managing around US$5bn in assets on behalf of clients. Prior to joining Fidelity, Bryan was a senior fixed income trader with Credit Suisse Asset Management and was based in Sydney, Australia.

Bryan is a CFA charterholder and completed a Masters of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales.

Chris Hancorn

Chris Hancorn is the Partner who leads the Hong Kong team of PwC's Asia Actuarial Services practice, applying the risk and analytical skills of actuaries to the life insurance industry, banking and other capital-intensive projects and industries.

He has over 20 years of experience in risk management, capital management, market reporting, product design, pricing and distribution, and actuarial valuation for long-term insurers, and has provided advice to other industries on risk management and financial modelling.

Chris is an expert in risk and capital management for long-term insurers, and led a number of major projects for large insurers to develop capability in this area. In particular, he led projects to develop and review internal capital models and own-risk and solvency assessment processes that are central to financial management in today’s regulatory environment for insurers.

Prior to joining PwC, Chris qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries with The Standard Life Assurance Company where he performed a number of roles in the UK and the Republic of Ireland in product development, distribution and financial management.

Chris is an active member of the Actuarial Profession. He served on Council of the Faculty of Actuaries from 2008-2010 and a number of working parties, and is a Fellow member of the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong. He has a first class honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics from The University of Edinburgh.

   
Amy Wenhui Jia

Terry Pan

Terry Pan joined Invesco in February 2015 as Chief Executive Officer, Greater China, Singapore and Korea, responsible for driving the overall growth and coverage of Invesco’s Greater China business, spanning across Hong Kong, China (offshore business), Singapore and Taiwan, as well as the other emerging markets in Asia. He provides strategic leadership and drives strong execution of Invesco’s multi-year strategies to further establish Invesco’s leadership position across these key markets.

Mr. Pan has more than 20 years of industry experience in asset management and financial services, with a proven track record in sales and relationship management across the key Greater China markets. He joins Invesco from J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he was Managing Director, Head of the Hong Kong and China QDII funds business.

Mr. Pan began his career in 1994 at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and held a number of roles across different functions, including client advisory services, investment communications and marketing. In 2000, he joined 2cube Securities as Vice President, Sales and played a key part in launching one of the first online trading portals in Hong Kong. He rejoined J.P. Morgan Asset Management as Head of Intermediary Sales in 2003 and was promoted to Head of Retail Business in Hong Kong and Macau.

Wilfred Sit

Harry Tsai

Eddy Wong

Eddy Wong, executive director, is the Head of Funds Business, Hong Kong & China Retail of J.P. Morgan Asset Management. He is primarily responsible for fund distribution.

With more than 10 years’ experience in financial services, Eddy rejoined J.P. Morgan Asset Management in July 2010 as Head of Intermediary Distribution. He was named Head of Intermediary Business in 2013 before taking up the current position in 2015.  Previously, Eddy was Head of Channel Management for Prudential Asset Management.  Eddy first joined JPMorgan Asset Management in 2005 and was a Vice President and responsible for intermediary sales business.  Eddy has also worked at HSBC Global Asset Management Limited and Standard Chartered Bank.  He commenced his career in Canada where he worked at TD Waterhouse and Canada Life.

Heman Wong

The Hospital Authority Provident Fund Scheme is the second largest ORSO scheme in Hong Kong, with about 31,000 members and invested asset about US$7 billion. The Scheme obtained its QFII license in January 2012, and a quota of US$100 million. The scheme offers to its members six choice funds and employs more than 20 fund managers. Mr. Wong joined the Hospital Authority Provident Fund Scheme in December 2007. As Executive Director, he oversees the investment and operation activities of the Scheme and reports to the trust board of the Scheme.

Mr. Wong has over 30 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry, covering investment fund management, treasury operations, fixed income sales and trading.

Prior to joining the Hospital Authority Provident Fund Scheme in December 2007, Mr. Wong was Treasurer of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority. Over his eight years of career at the MPFA, he managed their HK$5 billion working capital fund and the HK$1 billion compensation fund for the MPF system in Hong Kong. Before December 2007, he has spent 15 years of his career in treasury operations. Between 1986 and 1990, he was head of bond sales Asia ex-Japan at Midland Montagu. Before moving onto bond sales, he was the bond trader for Wardley Limited. Mr. Wong holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from the Bradford University in UK. He graduated with distinction focusing his stream of studies in finance and time series modeling.

Ben Yuen

Mr. Ben Yuen is the Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income of BOCHK Asset Management Limited. He has an overall responsibility for the Company's fixed income investment capabilities and business development.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Yuen was an Executive Director of UBS Global Asset Management in charge of the portfolio management and business development of the Asian fixed income products, including onshore and offshore RMB. Previously, he was the Head of Asian Fixed Income at First State Investments, and the team under his leadership was named the Best Institutional Fund Manager in Asia Fixed Income (based on the 5-year risk-adjusted performance) by AsianInvestor in 2006. He also served as a Senior Investment Manager at HSBC Global Asset Management where he was responsible for the Asian and Hong Kong fixed income portfolio management. The Money Market Fund managed by Mr. Yuen won the Best Money Market HKD Funds Award from Benchmark in 1998, and he was granted the Fund Manager of the Year Performance Awards in the three-year and five-year categories by South China Morning Post in the same year.

Mr. Yuen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management Science with first class honours from the University of Wales, Swansea, UK and a Master’s Degree of Science in Finance from the Lancaster University, UK. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

   
Keith Yuen

Keith is responsible for PFG's China and HK fund management businesses. He is a director and responsible officer at Principal Asset Management Company in HK, and a director at CCB Principal Asset Management Company in Beijing, a joint-venture between PFG and China Construction Bank.

Prior to PFG Keith was Deputy Group Treasurer overseeing a multi-billion endowment portfolio at the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC). Prior to HKJC Keith was Head of Treasury & Investments at Hongkong Land (HKL), a member of the Jardine Matheson group (JMG) where he managed the company’s financing, risk management, insurance, treasury operations and financial evaluation. He was also a member of the JMG pension board. Before HKL Keith was Deputy Group Treasurer at the MTR Corporation Limited and Secretary to the MTR pension board. Keith began his career in investment banking with HSBC in the areas of capital markets origination, derivatives structuring and project financing.

Over the years Keith has accumulated extensive management experience in corporate treasury, investor relations, financial risk management, institutional asset management, pension and retail mutual fund businesses in Greater China and Asia.

Keith is a holder of HK SFC Type 9 license. He is a founding member and vice president of IACCT (China) and a member of the Hong Kong Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Keith received his university education at Colby College, USA on full scholarship. He is proficient in 3 Chinese dialects and English.

Zhou Xiaoming, deputy general manager of TianHong Fund Management Co., Ltd, is known as Yu'ebao project leader. He is a master of Business Administration, and has 21 years' experience in financial enterprise. Zhou joined as the chief marketing officer of TianHong Fund Management Co., Ltd in August 2011 and now is deputy general manager in charge of Internet Financial business. He is also a member of Internet Finance committee of AMAC. Prior to joining Tianhong in 2011, Zhou worked as product and marketing manager of Harvest Fund, and subsequently General Manager of Shengshi Fund. Previously, Zhou served in GuoXin Securities, Beijing Securities and Hongkong Capital Group.

Mr. Zhou, who originated Yu’ebao and pushed it forward, won the only “ultimate hero" award in finance and economics on 2013 NetEase hero ceremony, and was also awarded the “Person of the Year in Internet Finance” by Tecent and several other institutions. Due to the successful innovation, Yu'ebao has become the largest and the most popular fund in China within few months, which were granted 6 grand prizes by the big 4 official Securities Journal.

Steve Chiu

Steve Chiu is Vice President, Investment Funds, Manulife Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, responsible for the Company's investment funds business in Hong Kong. He also sits on the board of Manulife Asset Management International Holdings Limited.

Mr. Chiu has more than 20 years of working experience in the financial services industry and extensive knowledge of wealth management products. He plays a key role in developing the investment funds business and to devise personalized solutions to the Company’s large and expanding customer base.

Mr. Chiu was most recently Managing Director at the Hong Kong subsidiary of one of the largest Mainland China asset management companies. Prior to that, he filled senior-management roles with a sizeable insurer and one of Hong Kong’s largest banks.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Hong Kong and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Financial Planner. Mr. Chiu is currently the Board member of the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong and a member of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association.
