Michael Wong, GBS, JP

Deputy Financial Secretary
The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

He joined the Government's Administrative Service in 1985 and rose to the rank of Administrative Officer Staff Grade A1 in 2017. He has served in various bureaux and departments. He was appointed Director of Information Services in 2009, Director of Marine in 2014, and was Permanent Secretary for Development (Planning and Lands) from 2015 to 2017.

Mr Wong served as Secretary for Development from July 2017 to June 2022. He was appointed Deputy Financial Secretary on 1 July 2022.

Charles Brooke

Charles Brooke is Managing Director, Head of Product, Business Development and Growth for Principal in Asia Pacific. In this role Charles is responsible for leading Principal’s strategy in the region, working across Principal’s wholly owned and joint venture businesses in Asia Pacific. Additionally Charles has responsibility for Product Strategy and Capital Market activities in the region.

Prior to his current role Charles was Head of Product, Asia Pacific for Principal where he held responsibility for all Product Strategy and Development activities in region and was additionally responsible for Principal’s Hong Kong based MPF Investment & Product Team.

Charles joined Principal in November 2021 and previously worked for Abrdn where he held a number of executive roles in both the Product and Insurance Solutions team in both London and Hong Kong. Charles began his career as an Investment Analyst at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in London.

Charles is an Executive Committee member of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association and co-chairman of the Pensions Sub-Committee.

Charles graduated from the London School of Economics with a MSc in Political Economy.

Eva Chan

Eva is the Head of Simmons & Simmons Hong Kong office and she specialises in investment funds. She has more than 20 years of experience advising international and mainland Chinese fund managers on a variety of public and private funds in different structures. She is one of the most experienced Chinese-speaking funds lawyers in Hong Kong.

Eva has advised on many of the first launch of Hong Kong’s innovative funds, such as the first public open-ended fund company, the first listing of fund on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited adopting a master-feeder structure, the first ESG ETF, and the authorisation of the first German domiciled fund, the first synthetic ETF and the first inverse and leveraged products. Additionally, she regularly advises on complex fund restructurings.

Eva has been recognised as a leading individual in investment funds by Legal 500 Hong Kong, China Business Law Journal’s (CBLJ) A-list - The Growth Drivers (International) and 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds.

Justin Chan

Justin Chan is an advisor to the co-Chief Executives of HSBC Asia-Pacific. He is responsible for advising and supporting the implementation of the HSBC Group strategy across its Asia-Pacific franchise.

Mr. Chan was previously the Head of Markets and Securities Services, Greater China at HSBC, based in Hong Kong and covering mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. He oversaw global trading in Chinese securities, specifically related to the Internationalisation of the Renminbi.

Since joining HSBC in 1986 in Hong Kong, Mr. Chan has held various roles, including in corporate sales, money markets and interest rates and foreign exchange trading. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Mr. Chan graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia.

Eric Cheng

Executive Director (Policy)
Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority

Mr. Eric Cheng is the Executive Director (Policy) of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA), responsible for formulating strategies, policies and legislative amendments to reform the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) System for enhancing retirement protection for the working population. He oversees regulation of MPF investments, and steers MPFA’s participation in international cooperation.

Before joining the MPFA, Mr. Cheng had been in the Administrative Officer grade with the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, serving in various bureaux and departments and on secondment to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

Mr. Cheng holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Oxford, and a master’s degree in economics and a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Hong Kong.

Christina Choi

Executive Director, Investment Products Division

Ms. Choi is a member of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). She is also an Executive Director with responsibility for the Investment Products Division, which is responsible for authorising and supervising collective investment schemes and other investment products as well as for the development and implementation of the SFC’s asset management strategy and policies.

Ms. Choi joined the SFC in 2005. She has extensive regulatory knowledge and experience in the policies and requirements for investment products both in Hong Kong and internationally. She played a lead role in the design and launch of various mutual recognition of funds (MRF) arrangements between Hong Kong and other jurisdictions, in particular the ground-breaking MRF arrangements with Mainland China.

Prior to joining the SFC, Ms. Choi practised as a solicitor in Hong Kong and was a partner of the Corporate Group of the international law firm, Clifford Chance.

Ms. Choi is currently Chair of the International Organization of Securities Commissions’ Committee on Investment Management. She is also a member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s Financial Services Advisory Committee and the Asian Financial Forum Steering Committee.

Ms. Choi chairs the SFC’s Products Advisory Committee and Committee on Real Estate Investment Trusts. She also sits on the SFC (HKEC Listing) Committee and the Executive Committee.

Nelson Chow

Mr. Nelson Chow is Managing Director of AllianceBernstein Hong Kong Limited, where he is responsible for fund distribution in Hong Kong and China QDII.

Mr. Chow has extensive experience in the industry and led the team to win various awards, including the Best Retail House Award 2016, 2018, 2020-2023 (Asia Asset Management), the Best Investor Education 2023 (Asia Asset Management) and Greenwich Quality Leader 2019 (Greenwich Associates).

Before joining AllianceBernstein in 2004, Mr. Chow was the Director of a U.K. asset management firm responsible for fund distribution in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Mr. Chow earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Economics from The University of Western Ontario, Canada and an M.B.A. in Finance from California State University – East Bay, United States. Mr. Chow is the incumbent co-chairman of HKIFA Unit Trust Sub-committee and has been an Executive Committee Member of the HKIFA since 2015. Mr. Chow was also a member of the Products Advisory Committee of Securities & Futures Commission of Hong Kong (2020-22).

Vivian Chui

Prior to Leo Wealth, Jessica was the Founding Partner, Responsible Officer and Compliance Officer at The Capital Company, an independent asset management firm formed in the beginning of 2017. Before this, she co-founded EXS Capital Asia Limited in 2008, and served as a Responsible Officer and head of Operations and Compliance until 2016. She and her team built a substantial asset management and financial planning practice at EXS.

Before she moved to Asia, Jessica worked as a Registered Representative for Charles Schwab. Her cross border expertise in trust and estate planning is recognized by her acceptance into the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She has an MBA from Temple University in Tokyo and is an Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor (ADPA).

Melody He

Kenneth Hui

Kenneth Hui is the Executive Director (External) of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), responsible for promoting the development of Hong Kong as an international financial centre, advancing Mainland - Hong Kong financial cooperation, and overseeing the HKMA's participation in international forums and organisations.

Mr. Hui joined the HKMA as Senior Manager (Market Development) in February 2017 and took up the role of Head (Market Development) in March 2020 with responsibilities in the formulation and implementation of various initiatives to promote the development of Hong Kong's financial sector.

Prior to joining the HKMA, Mr. Hui was a Senior Manager in Investment Products Division of the Securities and Futures Commission, where he specialised in regulatory policies on retail funds and innovative retail investment products.

Hazel Lai, CFA

Hazel Lai is a Managing Director in Institutional Sales of HSBC’s Markets and Securities Services business. She is based in Hong Kong and heads up Sales for Securities Services in North Asia excluding Japan. In her role, Hazel leads the sales strategy and business development for HSBC’s market leading asset servicing franchise for Institutional clients.

Hazel joined HSBC in 2007 and has over 16 years of experience in transaction banking focusing on institutional clients. She held various sales positions covering asset servicing for banks, broker-dealers, asset managers and asset owners. Prior to joining Securities Services, she was the Regional Sales Manager for Global Payments Solutions specialising in clearing and cash management solutions for financial institutions. Outside of work, Hazel is a proud member of Women in ETFs Asia Pacific and was the Co-head from 2019 to 2020 of this global ETF industry association advocating for industry connectivity and professional development.

Hazel holds a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from the University of Hong Kong. She is a CFA charterholder.

Joyce is a partner of Deacons Financial Services Practice Group. She has extensive experience advising on the establishment of a wide range of funds for Hong Kong retail distribution and private offerings in Hong Kong. Her experience includes establishing Hong Kong domiciled unit trusts, Hong Kong open-ended fund companies, Cayman Islands open-ended investment companies and Cayman Islands segregated portfolio companies.

She handles both private and retail fund clients, including well-known and market leading asset managers. She is exceptionally skilled in advising clients on private funds with complex and bespoke features. Her expertise includes negotiation and technical drafting of sophisticated fund documentation.

Laurence Li, SC, JP

Mr. Laurence Li, SC is the Chairman of the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). The FSDC is an advisory body to the HKSAR Government on all matters relating to the development of Hong Kong as an international financial centre. It engages the industry in formulating proposals to promote the further development of the financial services industry of Hong Kong and to map out the strategic direction for the development.

Mr. Li’s profession is a practicing barrister. He focuses on banking, commercial, company, and securities law. Prior to being called to the Hong Kong Bar, he served in several positions within the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong and, before that, worked in a law firm in New York.

Mr. Li is a Judge of the International Court and Regulatory Tribunal in Doha, Qatar. He is also a Fellow of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, an Honorary Fellow of the Asian Institute of International Financial Law at The University of Hong Kong, and a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Financial Regulation and Economic Development at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Harry Lin

Mr. Lin has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and securities industry in China as both a regulator and an investment fund practitioner. He has a proven professional track record in the retail/private fund sectors and a strong managerial focus on legal, compliance, risk management and audit-related issues.

Mr. Lin joined Neuberger Berman Investment Management in 2020 as the private fund manager’s Chief Compliance Officer. In 2022, he assumed the same role for Neuberger Berman’s China onshore retail fund operation when the firm secured its regulatory approval. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman, Mr. Lin held important roles at Guotai Asset Management (as CCO), Ding Xin Hui Jin Investment Management and Goldlark Asset Management (both as CEO). Mr. Lin started out his financial and securities career with the China Securities Regulatory Commission where he served 10 years in various roles across investment fund and information technology regulation.

Mr. Lin holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honors With Great Distinction) from Concordia University of Montreal, Canada.

Ken Lin

Ken Lin is the Head of Intermediary Business for Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. With over 15 years of experience, he joined Invesco in 2015 covering institutional, private banking, and retail channels across Asia.

Ken is responsible for driving relationships through targeted investment solutions across various segments across Asia ex Japan. More specifically, he leads the overall Hong Kong and Southeast Asian intermediary business, including the QDII product distribution within Greater China.

Prior to joining Invesco, Ken was with Gannett Welsh and Kotler, an investment management firm based in Boston. He began his career at UBS.

Ken graduated from Babson College (Hons) with a concentration in finance and holds an MBA from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He is also a CFA and CAIA charterholder.

An industry veteran, Ricky brings over 30 years of experience in the retail banking sector, with expertise in both the Hong Kong and China markets. Ricky’s 15-year tenure in the China market is distinguished by senior leadership roles, including Head of Distribution Network, Priority Segment & Deposit at Standard Chartered Bank (China), and Head of Retail Banking at Citibank China. Before his time in the mainland, he held several positions at Citibank Hong Kong, where he was instrumental in driving one of Asia Pacific’s largest retail wealth management franchises.

Amy Lo, JP

Chairman, Executive Committee, Private Wealth Management Association

Amy Lo is Chairman, Global Wealth Management Asia, Co-Head of Wealth Management Asia Pacific, Head and Chief Executive of UBS Hong Kong, and a Managing Director at UBS.

Actively involved in the development of the private banking industry in Hong Kong, Amy chairs the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA). PWMA is an industry association whose mission is to foster the growth and development of the private wealth management industry in Hong Kong.

She is also a Board Member of the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) and the Hong Kong Academy for Wealth Legacy, a member of the Banking Industry Training Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Education Bureau and an advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation.

Amy has over 30 years of experience in the private banking industry. Since joining UBS in 1995, she has held a number of senior management positions including Regional Head of UHNW and Global Family Office in Asia. Today, the UHNW business is the leading wealth manager for UHNW individuals in the region.

A passionate supporter of youth education and technological innovation in Greater China, Amy is a member of The Court and the MBA Advisory Board at The University of Hong Kong, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Department of Social Work at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is also a Board Member of the UBS Optimus Foundation, the independent grant-making foundation that helps UBS clients improve the education and welfare of children globally.

In recognition of her contribution to the wealth management industry, Amy was named Private Banker of the Year in the Asian Private Banker Awards for Distinction 2020 and 2023. She also received the Executive Award at the DHL/SCMP Business Awards 2018 for her efforts in building UBS as a corporate citizen in Hong Kong. She was also named by a top-tier Chinese media, China Business News, as one of the "Hong Kong Top 20 in the next 20 years" for her contribution to innovation developments in 2017.

Donie Lochan

Donie Lochan is Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer, overseeing global strategy and execution for Invesco Technology. In this role, with the support of the global Invesco Technology team, he is guiding Invesco into a new digital- and data-driven era, with a focus on delivering an investment experience that helps people get more out of life. Since joining Invesco, Mr. Lochan has helped transform technology into a modern, agile accelerator for the business. Collaborating with senior technology leaders and business partners, he develops and oversees implementation of the strategic technology roadmap to support Invesco’s investment capabilities and help drive revenue and profit growth. He champions the value of a strong, unified organization, and his strategic vision embraces emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, automation and blockchain, which are redefining the rules of the financial and asset management industries.

Mr. Lochan joined Invesco in 2015. Mr. Lochan has a background in organizational transformation, with a focus on wealth and investment management in domestic and international settings. Prior to joining the firm, he served as head of corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions for LPL Financial. Before that he was a partner with Bain and Company, a global strategy consulting firm.

Mr. Lochan earned a BSc degree with first class honors in mathematics, statistics and computing. He was recognized by the ORBIE awards as Georgia CIO of the Year in 2020 and National CIO of the Year in 2021.

Mandy Lui

She is responsible for leading the firm’s strategic relationships and developing stronger partnerships with key distributors throughout Hong Kong, Taiwan and China Offshore. She brings BlackRock’s full range of capabilities to regional distributors and banks, global private banks, and insurers, helping them achieve their strategic and business objectives in the distribution space. Mandy holds 20+ years of experience in the financial services industry, having worked in Boston, New York, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Educated in Canada and certified as an Actuary, Mandy started her career as pension plan valuation and asset allocation specialist. She also holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Matthew Mohlenkamp

Matthew Mohlenkamp is ICI Global’s Managing Director for Asia and Global Analytics. In this role, he leads ICI Global’s engagements on policy and regulatory matters across the Asia-Pacific. Prior to joining ICI Global, Mohlenkamp spent 15 years at the US Treasury Department, where he held a variety of roles focused on international economic, regulatory, and financial policy and analysis. A member of the US Senior Executive Service, he served as Director of Treasury’s Office of South and Southeast Asia, and previously was Director of the Office of the Western Hemisphere. Mohlenkamp also served as the U.S. Financial Attaché for Southeast Asia, based in Singapore, and as the Senior Finance Official for the United States in the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of International Studies (SAIS) and a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University.

Elisa Ng

Elisa Ng, Managing Director, is CEO of AM Hong Kong, as well as Head of Hong Kong Funds and Institutional Business for J.P. Morgan Asset Management. In her role, Elisa oversees the overall asset management business in Hong Kong and leads the strategic development of client businesses across direct clients, financial intermediaries and institutions in the region.

Elisa is a member of the firm's Asset Management Asia Operating Committee. She has been serving as Executive Committee member of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (HKIFA) since September 2017, and appointed as Chairperson in September 2023, working in close partnership with industry peers and regulatory bodies to develop the fund management industry in Hong Kong.

An employee since 2006, Elisa began as a client advisor with the Hong Kong retail sales team. She took responsibility of the Hong Kong Intermediary business in 2015 and was later appointed as the Head of Hong Kong and China Funds business in 2017. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Elisa was a Market Risk Manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Elisa holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Imperial College, University of London and a Bachelor of Engineering (Information Engineering) degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Glenda So

Glenda is Co-Head of Markets at HKEX and a member of the Management Committee. Based in Hong Kong, she is responsible for driving the Group’s emerging and fixed income and commodities (FIC) businesses. This entails ESG and carbon markets, data services and digital assets on the emerging business side, and currencies, bond interest rates, OTC clearing, commodities and structured products on the FIC side.

Prior to joining HKEX in 2020, Glenda spent four years as COO of a macro hedge fund in Singapore. Glenda has spent most of her career with Goldman Sachs, whereby during her 23 years with the bank she was a managing director responsible for Asia Ex-Japan Operations, Global Listed Derivatives and OTC Clearing Operations, and Asia Securities and Clearing Operations. She also spent three years in Currency Options Trading and Listed Derivatives Business Development.

Glenda is a board director at Bond Connect Company Limited, a board member at the International Securities Services Association, and a member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s Financial Services Advisory Group.

Sue Sun

Ms. Sun joined Llinks in September 2010. She has focused her practice on the asset management sector, especially mutual funds and hedge funds. Familiar with all legal aspects related to securities investment funds, Ms. Sun has handled legal matters related to the establishment and equity transfer of mutual fund management companies and private fund management companies. She has also provided general legal advice to numerous mutual fund managers and private fund managers in the areas of fund investment, operation, distribution, product design and corporate governance, etc., and is involved in the formation of hundreds of mutual funds and private funds.

In addition, Ms. Sun has extensive experience in providing legal services relating to cross-border asset management. She has advised a wide variety of well-known foreign financial institutions on a long-term basis on their QFII, RQFII, QDLP, QDIE, MRF, WFOE PFM and WFOE FMC projects.

Neil Tan

Neil has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Business Development -- across Banking (HSBC, Deutsche Bank), Management Consulting (Boston Consulting Group BCG) and Industry (Philips Electronics, Siemens).

Neil is Managing Partner at Tsunami Advisors, an advisory and consulting firm dedicated to helping FinTech, Blockchain, Digital Asset, and Web3 firms grow and scale in the Asia Pacific Region.

Prior to this, he served as the CEO of Neptune Digital, an award-winning blockchain start-up under the Cyberport Incubation Program (CIP). Neil was previously the Head of Business Development, Asia Pacific in the Digital Partnerships & Innovation Team at HSBC, where we focused on Banking-As-A-Service (BaaS) and Embedded Finance.

Neil is the Chairman of the FinTech Association Hong Kong (FTAHK) and a Member of the Hong Kong Government Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development (Web3 Task Force). He is also a Steering Committee Member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and a Conference Ambassador of the Hong Kong Tourism Bureau (HKTB).

Gary Tiu

Gary has more than 20 years of experience as a corporate legal counsel, specialising in regulatory affairs and financial products. Prior to joining OSL Group, Gary served as General Counsel for Yunfeng Financial Group and Asia Head of Legal and Compliance for Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners. Earlier in his career, Gary specialised in structured derivatives, private equity and managed investment products at Macquarie Group and CITIC Capital. Gary also currently serves as General Counsel for Reorient Group. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales.

Philip Tso

Philip Tso is Head of Institutional Business Asia Pacific, with Allianz Global Investors, based in Hong Kong. He joined the firm in 2017 and is responsible for guiding AllianzGI’s strategy in Asia Pacific in delivering the firm’s best-in-class investment advice and diverse solutions to institutional investors.

Philip has over 20 years of experience in investment consulting with a well-established network with institutional clients in the region. Before joining AllianzGI, he worked at Willis Towers Watson as Director, Head of Investments in Hong Kong and acted as a lead consultant for key pension, reserve and endowment funds and advised them on a full range of investment-related services and growth of their investment team. He was also responsible for driving the business with clients in the Asia Pacific region.

Philip has a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) from the University of Manitoba, Canada, and a Master of Science in Investment Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He has been a member of the Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee since 2013. He is also an Executive Committee member of Hong Kong Investment Funds Association and the co-chairman of its Pensions Sub-committee.

Ying Wang

Ying (Jany) Wang has joined HSBC as Head of Investment and Wealth Solutions (IWS) China on March 2022,and been responsible for bringing world class, differentiated wealth solutions through investments and insurance products, platforms and insights to HSBC clients across the full continuum, from mass affluent to ultra-high net worth.

Ying joined HSBC from Standard Chartered Bank, with more than 20 years of banking experiences, mostly in Product Management, Segment and Digital Banking. During her 4 years stint in SCB, Ying managed the Personal Segment, with partnership team, call center and digital banking reporting to her as the key acquisition and servicing channel for all segments. She successfully launched a partnership with Ant Financial for bulk acquisition of mass market customers. Prior to this, she started her career as Management Associate of Citibank China, and was in Singapore for on-job rotation for 2 years. Upon returning, she chose Wealth Management as her career path, and has participated/led milestones projects such as the launch of QDII(first in the market); launch of onshore mutual funds distribution, establishment of research & advisory team and a holistic wealth planner team. She was appointed as Retail Banking Head as her last role in Citi.

Elizabeth Wong

Director of Licensing and Head of Fintech unit, Intermediaries, Securities and Futures Commission

Ms. Elizabeth Wong is a Director of Licensing and Head of Fintech unit of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission.

Her work involves the formulation of the Commission’s policy on fintech matters and leading and supervising the licensing application approval process for virtual asset trading platforms, robo-advisers, virtual asset fund managers and traditional securities and asset management firms. Prior to taking up this role, Ms. Wong worked in the Investment Products Division and the Intermediaries Supervision Department and played a key role in Commission-wide policy initiatives including developing and enhancing Hong Kong as an international asset management centre and introducing guidelines for regulating the sale of investment products through online distribution and advisory platforms.

Ms. Wong practised as a banking and finance lawyer in Hong Kong prior to joining the Commission.

Sam Yu

Sam Yu (over 20 years' industry experience) is the Head of Compliance, Asia Pacific ex-Japan of Baring Asset Management (Asia) Limited. Prior to joining Barings in 2015, Sam was the Head of Business AML/KYC Office, Asia, of JP Morgan Asset Management in Hong Kong.

Before joining JP Morgan in 2014, he was the Head of Legal & Compliance, Asia Pacific of GAM Hong Kong Limited for nine years and prior to GAM, he was the Head of Risk Management for the Royal Bank of Canada's wealth management business in Asia. He had also worked at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Lehman Brothers, Bankers Trust in Hong Kong and Deloitte & Touche in New York.

He is the Vice Chairman and co-chairman of Regulatory Subcommittee of Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (“HKIFA”) presently.

Sam is a Certified Public Accountant in the United States and holds a BSc in Business Administration from Boston University, Massachusetts. He is based in Hong Kong.

Steffanie is responsible for establishing and leading Endowus’ presence in Hong Kong, Endowus’ first regional expansion. This includes positioning Endowus as an essential partner for wealth planning and to boost retirement adequacy in Hong Kong.

Before joining Endowus, Steffanie was Managing Director at Value Partners and was responsible for leading the Group's Direct Distribution, Marketing, Communications and Investor Relations functions, as well as other key strategic growth initiatives. Prior to Value Partners, she was the Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Director at Alibaba's fintech affiliate Ant Group, where she was responsible for driving strategic collaborations and partnerships with international financial institutions and Ant's overseas e-wallet partners, which together serves over 1.2 billion annual active users globally.

Steffanie was selected into the Financial Leaders Programme in 2023 organized by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. She also currently serves as Co-Chair of the WealthTech and InvestTech Committee of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong.

Dr. Allan Zeman, GBM, GBS, JP

Dr. Allan Zeman, GBM, GBS, JP, FCPA (Aust.) is the Chairman of Lan Kwai Fong Group, a major property owner and developer in Hong Kong’s Lan Kwai Fong Area, one of Hong Kong’s most popular tourist and entertainment districts.

Lan Kwai Fong Group in recent years, has expanded to various cities in China which include Chengdu and the GBA area. Dr. Zeman is also the owner of Paradise Properties Group, a property developer in Thailand which includes the award-winning Andara Resort and Villas in Phuket, a luxury golf resort and villa development called the Aquella and the condominium development named Sudara.

Dr. Zeman serves as a director of the "Star" Ferry Company, Limited. He is also the Non-Executive Director of Pacific Century Premium Developments Limited and is an independent non-executive director of Sino Land Company Limited, Tsim Sha Tsui Properties Limited, Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) and Fosun Tourism Group, all of which are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Dr. Zeman is also the Non-Executive Chairman of Wynn Macau Limited, a prominent gaming operator in the US and Macau.

Having lived in Hong Kong for over 50 years, Dr. Zeman has been very involved in government services as well as community activities. Besides having been the Chairman of Hong Kong Ocean Park, a major theme park in Hong Kong, from July 2003 to June 2014 and its Honorary Advisor from 2014 July to 2022 June. Dr. Zeman was a member of the Board of West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, and the chairman of its Performing Arts Committee from 2008 to 2016 and is now the Honorary Advisor and the Chairman of its Commercial Letting Panel. Dr. Zeman was a Board Member of the Airport Authority of Hong Kong and the Chairman of its Business Development Committee from 2015 to 2022 June. During that time, we have seen the completion of the 3rd runway of the HK international Airport and an upgrade of the retails space of the HK intercontinental Airport.

Dr. Zeman is appointed as a member of the HKSAR Chief Executive Council of Advisors. The Council is a high-level advisory body to advise the Chief Executive on the strategic development of Hong Kong, leveraging on opportunities from national and global developments.

Dr. Zeman is a member of the HKSAR Human Resources Planning Commission which is chaired by the Chief Secretary of HK. It is aimed to consolidate resources and efforts of the Government and various sectors to examine, review and co-ordinate policies and measures on human resources in a holistic manner.

Dr. Zeman is appointed as a member of the Task Force on Promoting and Branding Hong Kong in January 2023. The Task Force is led by Financial Secretary Paul Chan. It will advise the Government on the overall strategy of promoting Hong Kong's advantages, and on the promotional plans and activities that will take place overseas and in the Mainland.

Dr. Zeman is appointed as a member of the Culture Commission aims at advising the HKSAR government on policy, strategy and initiative for HK’s art, cultural and creative industries development.

Dr. Zeman is appointed as a member of the Tourism Strategy Committee in January 2024. The Committee is led by the Secretary of Cultural, Tourism and Sport. The Committee is tasked to provide the Government with strategic advice and foster collaboration among different stakeholders in tourism and related sectors for further promoting the long-term and sustainable development of Hong Kong's tourism industry.

Dr. Zeman was invited by former HKSAR Chief Executive Mr. CH Tung to be a Governor to Our Hong Kong Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting the long-term and overall interests of Hong Kong.

Dr. Zeman is a member of the Board of Governors of The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Dr. Zeman is also a board director of The Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund launched by the Alibaba Group. Dr. Zeman also serves as a Board Member of the Clinical Governance Committee of the Hong Kong Sanatorium Hospital.

In 2001, Dr. Zeman was appointed as a Justice of the Peace in Hong Kong. He was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2004 and the Grand Bauhinia Medal in 2011. In 2008, Dr. Zeman was awarded Business-Person of the Year by the Hong Kong Business Award.

In 2008, Dr. Zeman renounced his Canadian citizenship and became a Chinese citizen. Dr. Zeman received a home-return permit card and a Hong Kong SAR passport. In 2008, Dr. Zeman was awarded Business Person of the Year by the Hong Kong Business Awards.

Dr. Zeman received an Honorary Doctor of Laws from University of Western Ontario, Canada. In 2012, Dr. Zeman was awarded Honorary Doctorate Degrees of Business Administration from City University of Hong Kong and University of Science and Technology of Hong Kong. Dr. Zeman was awarded as the Honorary Member of the CPA Australia in February 2016.

In 2019, Dr. Zeman was awarded Honorary Doctorate Degrees of Business Administration from Open University of Hong Kong, now known as the Hong Kong Metropolitan University.

In 2022, Dr. Zeman was awarded Honorary Fellowship by Social Enterprise Research Academy (SERA) in recognized of Dr. Zeman’s distinguished contributions to global sustainable development.
