This flagship conference is specially designed to cater to banking professionals in Hong Kong and will cover the issues that are closely related to the local banking community. This year’s “Hong Kong: New Role, New Growth” theme reflects the need for the banking industry in Hong Kong to reposition itself, given the major shifts in the industry landscape after the financial crisis. Hong Kong must identify new areas of growth in order to remain competitive. In particular the conference will examine the ever growing influence of China’s economic growth, policy-driven initiatives and the maturing mainland banking sector. At the conference, the opportunities that China offers to Hong Kong banks will be explored, together with the challenges.

This one day event in the format of presentations, panel discussions, lively debates between experts, case studies and networking luncheon will provide insights into the future of the Hong Kong’s banking industry.
